BUILDING PLAN

As part of our vision to establish a heritage of excellent education in Boise, we are in the planning phases of building phase 1A of our permanent facility. We have operated for 12 years in leased facilities that are inadequate for our long-term mission.

To complete Phase 1A, we must raise $2 million to supplement the $2.5M we plan to borrow. If we raise $4 million, we will add a gym and Fine Arts space (phase 1B). Phase 2 will include a cafeteria and other amenities. We hope to complete Phase 1 by the Fall of 2008, with a cost of approximately $6.5 million. Total facility cost will be approximately $7.8M.

LOCATION

The Academy has acquired 8 acres near the intersection of Chinden and N. Locust Grove in Meridian. This location is just a few miles from the population center of the valley and borders on three cities– Boise, Eagle, and Meridian.

Locust Grove is currently being improved from Overland road to Chinden. It will be widened to 5 lanes and will "flyover" I-84 before we complete the facility. This will allow easy access from south Meridian and south Boise. Also, Chinden is being widened to 5 lanes which will improve access from north Boise and the bench.
