We created this "video visit" because we've been told there's no substitute for visiting our classrooms. This segment is divided into 5 short videos, 4 of which peek into the classrooms of the Academy. The fifth shows some brief excerpts of a few programs and events at the school.

First-time visitors notice a sense of order and structure in our classrooms and hallways. Our K&1 program is designed to help students read, write, and do math well. We have three K classes with around 15 students in each and two 1st grade classes of around 20 students. Our experienced teachers connect with students through inspiration and respect.

Our phonics program teaches reading as well as history and art. Our school advances students more quickly in both math and reading as we prepare students to read at an adult level by the 7th grade. Students enjoy the depth of material we present in science, language, and art. Even kindergarten students visit the science lab for hands-on science activities. Our curriculum has students memorize segments of scripture, hymns, and great classic poems to develop Western cultural literacy.
