Sending students to Foundations Academy is like joining a close family.  The PTF provides organization within our family.  Moms and Dads who love the school and love their kids work very hard to make our school a home, not just a place to drop off your kids.

PTF MISSION

To help strengthen and support relationships between parents, families, teachers, and staff through prayer, action and fellowship.

We do this by:

  • Organizing and implementing fundraising and fellowshipping events.
  • Providing classroom support.
  • Expressing appreciation for our teachers and staff.
  • Coordinating volunteer efforts throughout the school.

The PTF is funded by fundraising activity and is under the authority of the school's board.

PTF OFFICERS

  • Amy Yenor, President
  • Char Good, Vice-President
  • Cindy Williams, Secretary
  • Leann Troyer, Treasurer

Please call our offices for contact information within the PTF at (208) 323-3888.

ANNUAL SPONSORED EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

Back-to-school picnic--
We kick-off the school year with a party in the park where new kids join in the fun with those "seasoned" veterans.  They meet with teachers, enjoy great food, play, and watch the first House event of the year-- a tug-of-war.  This event usually takes place during the week before school starts.

Chili Cook-off-- What does a classical Christian ho down look like?  You have to see our family gathering to find out.  Hundreds of students and parents join in tasting dozens of great Chili's and cornbread, and the funds raised provide the teachers with their Christmas bonus.

Auction-- Each year, God has blessed us with an incredible fundraising auction.  We have dinner, a silent auction, and a short live auction of student projects.

Prayer Circle-- Prayer is the most important activity we ask our parents to do for their children and the school. Parents meet regularly to pray.  E-mail prayer lists and other activities are organized under the PTF.

Hot Lunch Program-- The PTF officially manages the hot lunch program at the school.

End-of-school picnic-- After all the tests are taken and the uniforms are hung for the summer, the students enjoy a last chance to make their summer plans while eating snow cones and popcorn in the park.

FUNDRAISERS

Boxtops for education-- The box-top program through general mills is run by the PTF.
